Web Design: #Hashtag Gallery Ltd.
As part of a full branding package for this young Toronto art gallery, this minimal design website was created to showcase the work of their represented artists, and announce upcoming exhibitions in the space. We initially coded the site in WordPress, and then after a few years transferred the site over to Shopify while keeping the original design in place.
The goal of this project was to keep a clean, simple, fresh design so as not to take away from the artwork being presented. The Shopify version of hashtaggallery.com includes a built in e-commerce section to showcase art, workshops, and items in the shop area of the gallery such as t-shirts, and prints.
